Can i still eat this?

I bought a frozen tarimisu cake, and it was held in a plastic container. It is supposed to thaw, but the oven in my house still retained some heat after it had been broiling some sweet potatoes. So i put the tarimisu in the plastic container in the turned off oven just for a minute. However really quickly, the plastic lid of the tarimisu container statred to shrivel and warp. Is the tarimisu still ok to eat?, or did the heated plastic leak some toxins?
