Barcelona is still better. If Barcelona w/o Messi, they still have Villa and Mr Brilliant Nobody, Pedro Rodriguez. Xavi, Iniesta and Busquests form a very good midfield as well. And Puyol and Pique are considered as one of the best defenders in the world.
