Western saddle pads- wool vs fleece vs wool blend?

Wool is the better of the choice..I like wool because it is cooler, it wicks away the moisture and therefore keeps them cooler. And it makes a nice padding. It is also easy to keep clean. You just rinse it off and let it air dry. I have used fleece of man-made materials and I hate them. I find that those make the horse really hot. Wool felt is good too.
