Does alligators eat all grown-up lions?

well actually alligators only live in North America so im uming you mean crocodiles because lions and crocodiles both live in Africa. although the lion is not typically one of the crocodiles target food sources, if a lion was at a watering hole and was attacked my a crocodile from beneath the waters surface, im sure it would have no trouble devouring the entire lion within hours.
