This is embarressing, a question about thumb sucking.?

im 17. boy. and im going to be 18 in november. i still suck my thumb. is that bad? i suck my thumb when im mad i just get relaxed. like when you give a baby a pacifier thats what it does for me. should i stop, is it bad?
