38 WEEKS && BEING INDUCED NEXT WEDNESDAY! :D?

next wedneday april 1 i am being induced in the office. my midwife said she was going to strip my membranes since im already 3cm dialated. this is my first pregnancy and it sounds painfull. Has anyone everhad this done? did it hurt? and how long after did you go into labor? She said i should go pretty quick already being dialated but thursday we would IV induce me if my labor didnt turn active. Just nervous looking for advice i guess. thanks in advance!:D
