Army - Is high frequency hearing loss considered a disqualifier for OCS?
Hello everyone, my question is: I have high frequency hearing loss in my left ear and tinnitus from shooting (IWQ) while in the Army National Guard. My enlistment is nearing its end and I have just received my bachelors. I was considering going to the advanced OCS route and getting my commission, however, I know that you have to p the medical examination. I was just wondering if anyone knew whether or not my high frequency hearing loss would be a disqualifier? My hearing in that (left) ear is normal up to 3HZ and then drops steadily down to 60DB. Also, would this be a deployment disqualifier?
